GOPMOM Note: Get out while you can

This is why my senior thesis was all about how the right to vote in America should be restricted. Of course I know that many of the people who voted for Obama are mistaken, misguided and widely illiterate and uneducated. I’m still miffed by the number of supposedly educated people who voted for him. Turns out I was wrong to be concerned about the supposedly “smart” ones. Turns out there are more stupid people out there than even I, with my inflated self-image, suspected. This is what I suggest. Get out now. This fight isn’t even worth it. Unless we start an honest to goodness revolution, we’re ducked

GOPMOM Note: Bill Ayers is correct - on one thing

“…if you ingest too much FoxNews, you will be confused…” Or something like that. Frankly, I can’t be bothered to look it up exactly. But Bill is right - because he was addressing students on an American university campus, Georgetown. And if you are 18-25 in America today you will be confused if you watch too much, or any, FoxNews.

GOPMOM Note : More girding (re: Prop 8) - UPDATED

UPDATED BELOW
Um, excuse me, but I have a question.  If, as I keep hearing, the election of Obama isn’t really a Liberal “mandate”, not the final nail in the Conservative coffin, the US is still a moderate nation, and there really is nothing to be afraid of, why are all the gay marriage militants protesting [...]

GOPMOM Note - The fix is in.

I’ve been subjected to much criticism for my comments that the Presidential election was won fraudulently. I’ve given many reasons for it but it all boils down to two things - money and voter registration. We know the Obama campaign did not conduct it’s fundraising efforts in an ethical manner. Only God, and Tony Rezco maybe, know from where all that money came.

GOPMOM Note: Liberal = Child

So it’s been a week, sort of, and the bombardment from the Left has not let up.  What is wrong with these people?  They remind me of ungrateful, spoiled brats on Christmas morning that got everything they wanted but are angry that someone else got something they forgot to ask for.  They got what they [...]

GOPMOM Note: More Obama Transparency

I don’t visit the site regularly because my stomach can’t take it - I invite you to visit the new and improved www.change.gov. You will find it much less informative than before. An entire menu at the bottom of the homepage is missing,

GOPMom Note: Apply for an Obama Administration job

With a big thank you to Michelle Malkin, for putting this information out there, (and many more, I’m sure), I encourage you to take a look at the new site put up by the Obama campaign. While there is no doubt the site is inappropriate and an abuse of the use of the .gov domain, it’s just an example of what we should expect from the Obama administration.

GOPMom Note: He’s baaaaack.

It would seem that Rev. Wright just does not get it. He couldn’t even wait a week before he went out there and started spouting more BS. He’s blaming the media for the rift between himself and Obama.

Now that the media is Obama’s you-know-what, how long ’til Rev. Wright is welcomed back into the fold? Smart money says he delivers the invocation at the inauguration.

Gird your loins

“Today the American people have made their voices heard, and they have said, ‘Things are finally as terrible as we’re willing to tolerate, to elect a black man, in this country, and at this time—these last eight years must have really broken you… It’s a great day for our nation.”

Of Religion and Politics - 48 hours to go

In church this morning, I prayed for deliverance. I got down on my knees and asked God to guide me, guide us, through the next two days. I asked for wisdom, compassion, understanding and deliverance. I’m not big on praying – I’m kind of a do it yourself girl.

GOPMOM Note: Obama is already putting people out of work

This is so brilliant. And right on target. I sincerely hope the 8% out there that is still undecided will do some hard thinking over the weekend. What I don’t understand most about this is why not canvas and call over the weekend? Or before and after work? Who is [...]

40 Acres for every Ass

There is a lot in the interview to take in. The obvious point is that Obama believes that the courts did not do enough during the Civil Rights Movement, that the courts are limited and that the legislative branches of our government must now take on the administrative task of addressing the “more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society”.

The Ideological Ultimatum that is 2008

As this year’s elections get closer and closer and the distractions get louder and louder, I think many of us lose sight of what this election could (and does) mean for the USA. We have two men, two diametrically opposite politicians, vying for the highest office in the land, arguably the highest office in the world. And they are in a statistical tie. It would appear we have some thinking to do.
