Tea Party Patriots Farmer Relief and Freedom Relay

We need you to come to Lincoln Square on Sunday afternoon, November 8th, at 4 p.m.

to greet the Tea Party Patriots Farmer Relief and Freedom Relay.

This relay is part of a national effort to bring attention to the suffering of farmers and farm workers in California’s Central Valley caused by irresponsible government regulations.  Most Americans are completely unaware of this disaster.  They will become aware next year when these farmers, who are responsible for 14% of our food crops, cannot plant their crops next spring.  Let’s help stop this disaster before it gets any worse.  Come to Lincoln Square to learn about it, to do something to stop it, and to help relieve the suffering of the farmers and farm workers.

Why should you and your fellow Tea Party Patriots be concerned?  Thousands of Americans have been thrown out of work due to irresponsible and senseless Federal regulations.  The federal government has shut off the water to these farms in the middle of a drought.  This once fertile farmland, which provides 14% of our food crops, is being turned into a dust bowl.  Some parts of the Central Valley have a 40% unemployment rate.  If the government is allowed to usurp private property rights in California, they can (and will!) do it in your neighborhood too!  You will soon be paying for the damage caused by your government through higher food prices.

We need to stop environmental extremism, including Cap & Trade, the Climate Treaty, and the devastation of the Central Valley.  This event on Sunday will give us a chance to speak out on these issues.  Though we have been focusing on health care legislation, we must not forget that other crazy ideas are in the works.

The Central Valley Tea Party has asked Tea Party groups all across the country to support them in bringing attention to this government made disaster. They also hope that they can raise some funds to bring relief to the victims of “California’s Katrina”.   Let’s help save “The Valley that Hope Forgot”.

Please come to Lincoln Square at 4 p.m. on Sunday to greet the people on the Freedom Relay.  They are starting in Portland, Maine on Sunday afternoon. Worcester is their first stop as they make their way across the country, ending in California on November 22.

The Worcester Tea Party was formed in response to the usurpation and subversion of personal freedoms and free market capitalism by the federal government.  The actions of the federal government in the Central Valley are an egregious subversion of the personal freedoms of tens of thousands of Americans.  Please come out to support your fellow Americans.
