Big Brother announces “Pelosi Vindicated”
So a bunch of Pelosi Democrat loyalists send out a letter (on unofficial stationery, whatever that means) saying they were told by Leon Panetta that the CIA has been “misleading” Congress since 2001. Things that make you go hmmmmm, no?
Remember when she said she had nothing more to say on this topic? Turns out that in the banana republic that is the United States of America these days, if you just wait long enough, they get their ducks in a row and everyone’s story finally correlates. She’s expected any minute.
Poor Leon Panetta. I can’t imagine he had any idea what he was getting in to when he signed on with the most deceitful administration ever – even with his Clinton history.
Of course, we can predict the fall-out. The left-wing peaceniks will clamor for war crimes trials, the right-wing conservatives, myself included, will just see this as another bogus claim and the moderates will just go back to coverage of where Jack-Ass’s body is. Basically, nothing will happen.

UPDATE – She said nothing worth recording. The smarminess of her smile is enough to indicate she sees this as a vindication, no matter how hollow, and a chance, thankfully, to further define the “success of the Democrats” (?) from the Republicans. Bring on 2010!
