The Sotomayor Pinata Cartoon Controversy – Not Funny
June 6th, 2009 • Related • Filed Under

I gotta’ tell ya’, I just don’t think it’s offensive. I don’t get it. It’s stupid. It’s not funny. Obama should not be in it. Why would he be encouraging anyone to whack her? It doesn’t make sense. Wouldn’t it make more sense to have a Conservative leader addressing the elephants?
And is the pinata thing only offensive because she’s a (wise) Latina? Once again, the Left has chosen to play the race card rather than address the facts as to why this woman is not an appropriate pick for the Supreme Court. I suppose we can only hope there are a few strong Conservatives left on Capitol Hill willing to address this properly and ask the “tough questions”. The fact that the Admin is allowing (or creating) the rumors of Sotomayor possibly being Pro-Life but respectful of the law of the land only makes my spidey senses tingle more. We’ll settle for Sotomayor because the alternatives are even worse? So she respects law in this instance but in every other case, she resorts to her sense of empathy to determine justice? Why has the Left been so determined to accuse the Right before a single question, a single hearing is held? Oh wait, scratch that – just business as usual.
Would it have been just as offensive if it had been a group of donkeys driving a pick-up truck with Clarence Thomas roped to the bumper, with some Liberal saying “Start ‘er up, boys”? Now that would be offensive. But would we ever know without the MSM to tell us so?
But I suppose the Left needs their regular fix of “right wing hate speech” to keep their blood flowing, they need a reason to get up each morning, especially with Obama out of the country. It’s not as if they’ll be at all interested in the historical significance of today.

Greetings to you, my dear, for the first time I visit your blog and I just wanted to place on record my admiration for the Second Andt asked me, I like you, and blogger from Egypt, but I want you to help us deliver our voice to the administration of President Oobamabon does not deal with the Egyptian regime’s dictatorship, which is tightening the screws on us and we all also Iatqlna in Egypt, we are subjected to severe beatings and torture at the hands of the dictatorial regime, please get our voice to the great American people and to President Obama to put pressure on the system and I thank you, Sir
Welcome, Sameh.
Looks like you’re suffering from the same voter’s remorse so many of my countrymen and women are suffering from today. Except I’m assuming you did not actually get to vote for Obama – or did you?
As much as I would like to help, I can assure you, Obama does not read this blog. Maybe TOTUS does, though. You’ll just have to try to be content knowing so many of us here in the USA agree with you and know that Obama is a lying crap bag and has no one’s best interest at heart, except his own. You freedom-loving and -seeking people around the world are on your own. We can no longer help you – we are too busy protecting and defending ourselves from a fascist dictator and his daily onslaught of attacks on our life, liberty, etc.
Maybe you should have thought about the consequences of your undying devotion to this charlatan before he got elected, no? Elections have consequences and it is not just the American people that will suffer now. It is people all over the world who want freedom and independence from dictatorial regimes and stifling socialism and communism. We can no longer rescue you from your bad decisions and the repeated offering up of your personal liberties in exchange for empty promises and supposed peace of mind – we must try to regain control of our runaway government before it eats us alive. I repeat, we have our own battles to fight – you are on your own. Peace.
