U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder dispatched the U.S. Marshals Service to protect “appropriate people and facilities around the nation” in the wake of the murder of late-term abortion provider Dr. George Tiller in Wichita, Kansas on Sunday morning.

I bet no one saw this coming.  Where’s Rahm?  Paging Rahm.  Unfortunate incident just waiting to be exploited.

Many anti-abortion groups condemned the killing of Tiller, a prominent abortion provider who was shot dead at his church in Wichita, Kansas. But they expressed concern that abortion-rights activists would use the occasion to brand the entire anti-abortion movement as extremist.

Ooohhh, there’s the scary word again – “extremist”.  Lovely, when we called the Islamic terrorists who attacked our nation on September 11th “extremists”, we were the bad guys because not all Muslims are “extreme”.  Hey, get out the DHS report on “Conservative Extremists”.  Let’s see how many labels apply here.  I suppose I’m on another list this am.

Please.  I obviously lost no sleep last night over the “Doctor of Death’s” untimely demise.  I’m not happy he was killed but I’m not sad either.  I think ambivalent is the word.  I mean they caught the perp, right, so it’s not as if there is a loose gunman on the run.  Are the US Marshals being directed to use similar resources ($) to hunt down the two murderers who escaped walked out of an Arkansas prison last week?  Those dudes seems like they might be kinda’ dangerous, no?  I hardly think Pro-Lifers across the nation are locked and loaded – it’s a bit antithetical to the movement protecting LIFE. Besides, if they were, I think I might have gotten the memo.

Now, I know it is going to be difficult for all of the hysterical children of the Left who just can’t get through the day unless they are being victimized right, right and center but there is not a revolution brewing – within the Pro-Life movement, that is.  Do we even know enough about this guy yet to know if he’s alone or part of a group of militants?  Even if he is affiliated with others, are they all out there armed and dangerous?  Remember, according to recent polls, 51% of the US population calls itself Pro-Life.  So, if there was a revolution happening, you’d already know about it.

So let’s relax a bit and wait and see what the facts are.  Remember, only 8 abortion doctors have been killed by “extremists”, hardly a statistic worth noting.  Especially when compared to Muslim extremists, or anti-government wackos like Tim McVeigh.  And let’s lay off Christians in general.  Hey, without us how would all those retailers turn their bottom lines to black each December?
