BO did NOT bow to the Saudi King
The White house has finally responded to the acquisition that BO bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia.
“It wasn’t a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he’s taller than King Abdullah,”
Which is good to hear, because according to the Washington Times, if BO had bowed to the King it would have been a:
“shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate” and said it violated centuries of American tradition of not deferring to royalty.
It is interesting to note that no qualified G20 leader bowed to the King because they all understand international protocol.
It is as we say in England “simply is not done”. So with BO’s “leaning forward – but not a bow” act, international respect for BO is intact.
(Yeah right!)
The smirk on Sarkosy’s face was because he remembered a rather witty joke, not because he can see BO grovelling dipping to the King.
In the Arab world, they have a slightly different view.

Doug Powers at Michelle Malkin has a great assessment:
I’d suggest that the White House call it “Royalty-onset osteoporosis” from now on, just to avoid any confusion. “Had to tie my shoe” also works in a pinch, as would branding Obama-style genuflection as “The Hunch of Hope,” possibly kicking off a new dance craze.
Hunch of hope? Brilliant! I really hope there’s one brave comedian out there who is willing to exploit this comedy gold – before he gets audited, of course.

Nah.. he wasn’t bowing. He was adjusting the King’s robes for him.
I am not certain but I think adjusting the Kings Robes would also be an insult.
You can tell from the pic above he’s not offering him two hands. Well, it could have been worse, he could have kissed one of the guy’s many rings. So effin’ classy, Barack. What an A**!
Obama, the President of the United States and leader of the free world, bows to a Saudi King who represents a despotic regime noted for its’ human rights violations, a birthplace of terrorists, a symbol of everything that is an antithesis to our system of government, and it’s no big deal?
I consider myself fortunate to have been born in a republic. I appreciate that as a citizen of a republic, I need not bow to any man or woman. We are all created equal, and blood lines do not make one person superior. This gesture by Obama should rankle every citizen for when Obama bowed as President of the United States, we all bowed.
He did bow, see the video from the latest angle:

Hmmm…
Well, if I were a Muslim who had successfully won the Presidency by saying that I WAS NOT a Muslim (among other things that weren’t true), then I guess I might do that.
It is of interesting note that to my knowledge the first family have not gone to church since inauguration, due to not having “found one”. I hear that it is hard for Presidents to find mosques–er I mean churches–to visit when they first arrive in DC.
Also, semi-related check out this:
Presidential Determination No. 2009-15
I’m just saying… is it not interesting that we might accept hundreds of thousands of Palestinian terrorists now that The Obambi (as GOPMom says) is in office?
As for what religion is superior–everyone has their own beliefs. And so long as they aren’t in line with deceiving and killing other people, I’m perfectly fine with them having their beliefs.
Remember, the Quran states that you may lie to further your objective of spreading Islam or jihad.
And maybe he wasn’t bowing. Maybe he was bending down to kiss King Abdullah’s a**.
But they’re refugees, Patriot. Don’t we have to help the refugees?
Um, are you a refugee if you’re living where you’re supposed to be?
I CAN”T believe our president, who is probably a Muslim, and of course we know that we as a Christian nation can never have a Muslim be President, gave aid to the refugees in Palestine. UNREAL! I am outraged. This is almost as Bad as Bush giving billions to Al Queda in Iraq!
Bush did what??? Did I miss something in the past 8 years?
Giving aid to a country full of terrorists….
Which one was that? Because I’m confuzzled. I must have fallen asleep at some point.
Iraq
Hmmm… I don’t recall seeing the Bush administration making any contributions to Iraq, unless you mean overthrowing the Al Qaeda supporting dictator (Saddam Hussein) that was there and helping to install a democratic government.
From your statement I assume you feel that a socialist dictatorship is preferable to a free country.
lol, how misinformed.
1. Saddam Hussein was actually ANTI al qaeda(he was sunni), which is one of the main reasons why it didnt take a foothold in iraq until we got rid of him and then pissed the hell out of iraq’s citizens.
2. he would really fall under the category of fascist, not socialist, not that the recent surge of self-proclaimed patriots can tell, seeing as progressive tax is CLEARLY equal to socialism. O wait… its not.
Speaking of Obama bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia. He looks up to the king and those who voted for Obama look up to Obama. I guess in the hope that he will actually take from the rich and give to the poor.
Since they believe the Democrat party is the party for the poor. The Democrats will keep them where they’re at, and that is POOR, so they can keep getting their votes. Every once in a while give them chicken feed. Not enough to fulfill their needs but just enough to make them think that they are actually being helped. Rather than giving them the encouragement to get educated so they can be able help themselves. And just in addition to this, many illegals are receiving the same assistance from our government. You know what is going to make things even worse? When the illegals are made citizens. I think that is when “HELL IS GOING TO BREAK LOSE”, if nobody is willing to stand up against Obama’s plan to legalize the illegals.
I wish somebody will do the something. Let this man know we disagree with him. I believe this is the reason why George Lopez and the La Raza group were a part of the Obama campaign. The la Raza group is winning. It’s like there is nothing we can do, but just watch our country being taken over. And you know this will be the end of conservatism. The dictator in Washing and it’s criminally run government is in control. We will have to go up against NAACP, ACORN, and now La Raza. GOD HELP US ALL.
Oh we’re letting them know! There are a lot of us–more than you may realize, Rosita!
Rosita, you should look into some statistics and check your facts on how the poor in America do under Democratic vs. Republican administrations.
As Jon Stewart pointed out this week, are you sure you’re not confusing tyranny with losing?
“As Jon Stewart pointed out this week, are you sure you’re not confusing tyranny with losing?”
EXACTLY DUDE (or chick I’m not sure).
Stewart may not be the most reliable news source, but he’s miles better than that Sean Hannity jerk. At least you’re not supposed to take Stewart too seriously.
Hey, I don’t watch Hannity either. Can I be in the club?
Why do all you guys assume we all watch Hannity, Beck, O’Reilly, etc? Really, do you sit home and watch news 24/7? We don’t either.
But I do listen to Rush. That guy is hilarious. And right, 99.9% of the time.

Rosita, Thank you for your insightful and true comments. We have a big job ahead of us convincing the “working poor” that the person they should depend on to better their situation in life is not someone in government.
ATG believes that the government is all knowing, all powerful and all beneficent. He’s clueless and will remain so as long as Patriots like you keep fighting the good fighting and resisting tyranny. Personally, I hope he never figures it out because if he does it will likely be in a bread line.
I have always wondered why the Hispanic population of this country that worked so hard to get here and make a life for their families is so tolerant, even embracing of those that would drag us all down for the sake of some free government cheese. La Raza has nothing to offer (Hispanic) Americans. It exists to support itself – not unlike the unions and ACORN and the Dems and Congress. We need to make the abhorrent behavior of this organization as well known as that of ACORN.
It is not the president that matters – it is congress.
ATG – you should look into some statistics and check your facts on how America does under a Democratic controlled congress. I.E. A democratic congress brought us into this mess in the first place.
Democrat/Republican are broad categorization. McCain is more of a Democrat that BO is. BO is much closer to a Socialism or Communism – want to check the stats on how well Socialism and Communism has done?
Jon Stewart is not a reliable source to get your news. He is a comedian.
Very few mikes picked it up, but I understand that as he bowed BO said in a hushed tone “I’m sorry, your Lordship, for America’s despicable acts toward your country.”
Dude, get your head out of your a**. He’s not a freakin’ Muslim. Even if he was, BFD. The first amendment guarantees freedom of religion, something conservatives seem to have forgotten. Muslim does not equal terrorist. Our religious intolerance makes us no better than the enemies we are combating right now. Religious right = American Taliban
“it violated centuries of American tradition of not deferring to royalty.”
Ok I’ll give you this. So he broke tradition a little. Since when is showing respect to a world leader a crime?
“Our religious intolerance” – ? You speak for all of us?
If Barack Obama is a Muslim – which I highly doubt since I don’t believe he has the ability to wholly commit to anything, no less a religion with such a strict dictate of rules – it is offensive because he has spent so much tome denying it. But as I’ve said before, he’s nothing.
And the religious right does not behead the people it captures – we tickle them until they pee their pants. So we’re not nearly as bad as the Taliban – or are we?
