GOPMOM Note: Now can we get a do-over?

It would seem that our Prez is a bit overwhelmed.  Apparently the world is a pretty big “community”  to “organize”.  Good Lord, can we come to a consensus (DRINK) that if he just leaves today, we won’t sue him for the $787 billion?  Amateur.

Sources close to the White House say Mr Obama and his staff have been “overwhelmed” by the economic meltdown and have voiced concerns that the new president is not getting enough rest.

Allies of Mr Obama say his weary appearance in the Oval Office with Mr Brown illustrates the strain he is now under, and the president’s surprise at the sheer volume of business that crosses his desk.

A well-connected Washington figure, who is close to members of Mr Obama’s inner circle, expressed concern that Mr Obama had failed so far to “even fake an interest in foreign policy”.

Maybe The One should consider cutting back on the lifestyle.

I’ll be interested to know if Mr. Brown has anything to play the films on back home, since U.S.-format DVDs don’t work in United Kingdom DVD players.

Mark Steyn hits the nail on the head, as usual.

As I said earlier this week, “On your knees, America.”

  1. Hi Mom,

Obama also said he was “too tired” to properly entertain UK’s Brown last week. Instead he let his “fatigue” insult the leader of our country’s top ally, Great Britain.

He is too busy partying with his “homeys” until the wee hours to get the rest he needs to do take care of the affairs of state???

He still thinks he’s a college boy trying to stay in the cool crowd. Obama please step aside and let someone run this country who isn’t “surprised” by all the work that comes across the President’s desk.

You look like you are in a permanent state of hang over–not a good way to be when you are running our country.

I wonder about the hang-over thing. The fact that the MSM is out there saying “He doesn’t drink at these events” has that doth-protest-too-much tone to it.
All amateurs and we’re going to pay, as is Eastern Europe, Israel and South Korea.
