GOPMOM Note: Dateline Tuesday… Americans – 2, Liberals – 0
The hearing in Connecticut on the legislation proposed by lawmakers Mike Lawlor and Andrew McDonald has been cancelled and the bill is off the agenda for 2009. Apparently the public does have an opinion.
That’s two for the good guys today. Freeman out. Fascism out. Keep up the good work. Cut ‘em off at the knees. Send Obama back to Chicago with his tail between his knees.
A reminder from HotAir -
It’s more than a belief. The First Amendment makes that clear:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
And it wouldn’t be right to celebrate without recognizing the outstanding work Laura Ingraham and her staff did accomplished on behalf of Catholics everywhere.
The forces seeking to trample on the religious liberty of the Catholic Church in Connecticut met with the mighty force of Laura Ingraham Show listeners and Catholics nationswide. Wednesday’s scheduled meeting has been called off pending a review by the state’s AG.
It was a good day for the good guys. Rest up – they’ll be back at it in the morning.

See? Didn’t even make it to a vote. And earlier today you were worried that it would be the first of many similar bills in all our states and that a court would rule in its favor.
I am disappointed about Freeman though. Obama needs to stop backing off his less pro-Israel Middle East advisers.
You’re a witless talking point.
But thank you for once again being Exhibit 1 for the smart, concerned people who read your comments. We all need to know the kind of mindless blathering we must continue to come up against in order to win back America.
And since you didn’t seem to understand, it was the public outrage that led to nationwide publicity that caused even more public outrage that forced the government of Connecticut to take a look at this bill, which is when one person finally realized it was inappropriate – possibly – in its current form. It’s not dead, it’s just under review. The bozos that wrote it did not remove it from consideration, the AG is reviewing it. They saw it will “take the rest of the year” or some such nonsense.
But that’s ok, ATG. The people who truly believe in freedom will keep fighting the good fight for you while you sit in a cube somewhere, blathering away in your ridiculous way, posing as some sort of intellectual when in fact I, a lowly housewife, can form a more coherent and defensible argument in between loads of laundry and casserole baking.
Geesh, no wonder Obama won – his ‘bots are thicker than molasses on a January morning.
