Obama’s “F You!” to Americans in Crisis

The stimulus bill passed the House but not one Republican voted for the bill and 11 Democrats voted against. At least the Congressional Republicans are listening to there respective constituents.

Can the Obama administration be anymore tone deaf? After pushing his $1.1 trillion Generational Theft Act of 2009 through the House last night, the White House apparently decided to throw itself a swank cocktail party. According to ABC’s Jake Tapper, the menu included alcoholic beverages (vodka martinis are an Obama favorite, reportedly) and wagyu steak.

What did you expect from a bunch of arugula-eating elitists?

Didn’t someone once say “Let them eat cake”?

  2. Paul Harvey says:

What about a PB & J “cocktail celebration”? (Salmonella included)Peanuts go great with Genny Light or Meister Brau.

  3. Ted says:

The Joint Chiefs of Staff HAVE AN ABSOLUTE CONSTITUTIONAL DUTY to stand behind Guantanamo Military Judge James Pohl UNTIL OBAMA OVERCOMES “RES IPSA LOQUITUR” BY SUPPLYING HIS LONG FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND PROVING HIS ELIGIBILITY TO BE PRESIDENT UNDER ARTICLE 2 OF THE US CONSTITUTION.

Well, I was going to say that Obie is an arrogant, egotistical, self indulgent twit, but the blog’s owner said not to use derogatory language.

  5. GOPMOM says:

Oh, Joseph, I use words like arrogant & egotistical & self indulgent all the time. And “twit” is a personal favorite. Nothing derogatory about them. It’s the other words you have to finish with *^$#@ that we prefer you not use, unless you finish them with %$#@*. Feel free to express your dismay in this way. I do frequently.

But on this blog, we refer to Obama as a “lying crap bag”. We find it suits him perfectly.

  6. Brad says:

I am starting a campaign to have it spelled “Øbama”. Please feel free to join my movement.

  7. ATG says:

Is that supposed to be a zero or a “no” ?

  8. GOPMOM says:

I like it, Brad. But isn’t it a bit limiting? We don’t want to discriminate against any future monikers. The possibilities are as endless as his hair-brained schemes to “remake” America.

  9. wrench says:

The character (O with a slash) is not guaranteed to render correctly in all environments.

You should code it like this:

    Øbama

Which has a better chance of being rendered correctly.

    e.g. Øbama

  10. Jakester says:

About the O with a slash is actually a zero as you all know, befitting this dirt bag of of a liar just perfectly.
But his name Obama is a coded acronym for “One Big Ass Mistake, America”.

  11. GOPMOM says:

Not to be confused with the nation the Big “O” is attempting to create – United American Socialist States – UASS.

  12. ATG says:

An excellent article I read a few days ago about Barack Obama and socialism:

A short guide to Obama and socialism

  13. GOPMOM says:

Really, the only opinion you could find on whether Obama is a “good” socialist or a “bad” socialist, as if there is a difference, is from a colleague of Bill Ayers’ wife?

Than you for another chuckle, chucklehead.

  14. ATG says:

It’s not about “good” socialist versus “bad” socialist, it’s about the difference between socialism and social democracy, with the author arguing that the latter is an explicit response to and repudiation of the former.

So thanks to Bill Ayers, the entire Northwestern Law School has lost credibility?

  15. wrench says:

That is not fair….do not ignore the achievements of the Bernardine Dohrn.

Dohrn is also a terrorist with the Weather Underground.

    Terrorist

She was one of the signers of the Weathermen’s “Declaration of a State of War” (Declaring War on the US)

  16. ATG says:

Again, not sufficient to discredit an entire institution that is one of the best law schools in the country.

  17. GOPMOM says:

ATG, I would think you know me well enough now to understand how I feel about any person, business or institution that would allow itself to be associated with someone as despicable (and that’s the nice way to put it) as Ms. Dohrn and her husband.
There are some things that are inexcusable and unforgivable – among them, the refusal to accept responsibility for one’s actions and lack of remorse. These people are garbage and society should treat them as such.

What exactly does it say about a society and its educational institutions when we elevate unapologetic traitors, who hide like cowards behind the justice system they have manipulated, to celebrity status? ANyone who pays for their child to be educated by this woman, in that department, at that school, is a fool – and an accomplice.

  18. ATG says:

    *Sigh*

At this rate, I hope your daughter likes Liberty University

  19. GOPMOM says:

You forgot Hillsdale and Ave Maria. SMU is also viable, I would say. Boston College is showing signs of intelligence. Notre Dame, as a Big Ten fan, I could deal with.

And you also forgot, she is free to go wherever she wants as long as she pays for it herself – just like everyone should have to pay for the choices they make.

I am confident she will choose well – that is the kind of person we are raising.

But the point I was making, which you again are attempting to pervert, is that people should be held responsible for all their choice, even the really bad ones. Mr. and Mrs. Ayers have gotten a free ride and that is unacceptable – at least it should be. And you should have known better than to put forth an argument – someone else’s, again – produced by someone with such ridiculous beliefs and dubious associations. I don’t have a lot of time but I did have time to google the guy. I only had to read the titles to his “writings” to know he was a wingnut. You’re really disappointing me these days.

  20. ATG says:

I thought it was an interesting argument, especially since I agree with him that there’s a big gulf between social democracy and socialism – given that I am pretty liberal myself but don’t think socialism is a viable way to run a society. I didn’t think there was anything ridiculous about it. It did two things:
    a) Pointed out that our society is already a social democracy, and people are comfortable with this, and
    b) Despite this, nobody would call Americans Marxists.

It’s comical to hear you lampoon a guy who teaches at the same university as Bill Ayers’s wife and thereby try to discredit him on the basis of “dubious associations.” Do you know anyone who went to Northwestern? I hope you chastize any alumni you might meet for their associations as well. Or anyone who sent their kids there – they are probably terrorists too. Children of Northwestern alumni? God forbid – they’re probably being talked into becoming martyrs as we speak! Just make sure you are consistent in holding anyone affiliated with Northwestern responsible for “all their choice.”

Obama hasn’t put terrorists in his cabinet, or sold us out to bin Laden – it’s time to let the whole “everything Bill Ayers breathes on is official property of al Qaeda” line of reasoning go.

  21. GOPMOM says:

Again, Witless, you miss the point I originally made. I was making fun of/chastising you for putting up an article written by someone who has such questionable associations. Especially here, where you should know by now I would make a point of it. I’m sure you could have found something similar written by someone who isn’t associated with some of the leaders of the socialist movement in America today, if you had wanted to.

I love how you constantly challenge me to live up to my own high standards. What is it that makes you think I don’t? Do you really think it is that hard to find people out there to be friends with that are honorable, have a high moral code and can also be intelligent, entertaining and fun? Who are you hanging out with that your standards have to be so low?

I was at a 40th Birthday Party las night attended by 7 or 8 families and I can assure you, not one terrorist in the bunch, not one person I wouldn’t trust with my child or my dogs, not one of them I wouldn’t call on in the middle of the night if I needed help or just someone to talk to. I will admit, it’s not easy to find a circle of friends like this but it is worth the search and effort. So yes, my standards are very high, as are those of my friends and I’m thrilled to be included in a group of hard working, well educated, interesting and caring people, amongst whom I will raise my daughter. I can point to any one of them as an example of how to live a good, happy life.

Is it possible you cannot do the same, which is why you so want to mock me for choosing to say there are people out there who don’t “qualify”, who aren’t acceptable to rake my leaves, no less dine at my family’s table?
