Hm. Looks like some of the tough-guy trash supporting your candidacy took your commandment literally, Barry. How responsible of you.
Physical assault we can believe in!
While the Democrat-leaning media continues to scare undecided voters with bedtime stories about some mythical angry McCain supporter whom nobody has seen, here is a real district attorney’s complaint documenting an unprovoked assault by an enraged Democrat against a McCain volunteer in midtown Manhattan: “œDefendant grabbed the sign [informant] was holding, broke the wood stick that was attached to it, and then struck informant in informant’s face thereby causing informant to sustain redness, swelling, and bruising to informant’s face and further causing informant to sustain substantial pain.”

Someone email it to one of the big three networks. Request the victim be put on with Couric, Charlie and Williams.
Christ - it happened a few miles from their headquarters. If they can get a news crew to stick a camera up Joe the Plumber’s butt 24-7, you’d think they could get their investigative team on this, which unlike the made-up MCCAIN RAGE GANGS, actually is, you know, happening . In their city.

Woman Attacked At ATM, Assailant Carves Letter Into Her Face
Woman Robbed, Attacked With Knife At Bloomfield ATM
Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard tells Channel 4 Action News that the victim was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m.
Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face, Richard said.
Richard said the woman refused medical treatment after the assault, which happened outside the view of the bank’s surveillance cameras.
The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.
The Obama-Biden campaign released a statement, commenting on the attack. The statement said “Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice.”

So Marie, What is the point? I would venture that all Presidential candidates in history have had some sort of wacky threat plotted against them. And you’re the one who has previously mentioned that Obama is more likely to be plotted against because he is black. (Which, actually, he really isn’t, he’s more Arab.) But anyway, I put it up and resisted the urge to post the Palin hung-in-effigy photos.
Ironically, it was Michelle Obama who pointed out last year that Barack Obama was just as likely to be shot gassing up his car at a gas station in Chicago as he was likely to be shot while on the campaign trail or as President.
Makes you wonder what Obama and his political cohorts have been doing all this time they’ve been in charge of Chicago? More people have been gunned down on Chicago’s South Side in the last six months than US service members killed in Iraq. I mean, come on, it’s more dangerous to live on Chicago’s South Side than it is to be a US soldier in Iraq? Oh yeah, let’s let the guy helping to run things in Chicago take over the entire country. After all, things are going so well there.

I do find it a shame that people feel the need to lie in order to get more votes for their candidate. I’d really like to see campaigns, and supporters rely on their plans, backgrounds, and truth to decide campaigns, not half of the junk we’ve seen from both sides this year.
