GOPMOM Note - Sarah and Charlie
Take heart out there average America. The idiots on talk radio here in Boston are so taken aback at Gov. Palin’s successful interview yesterday, they are today expressing sympathy for poor Charlie Gibson, the first of the MSM to be thrown to the ‘Cuda. I know, can you believe it? Marjorie Egan (sp) is on 96.9 FM talk radio here in Boston right now lamenting that Charlie had to go easy on Sarah after all the controversy of the media’s handling of her - he couldn’t really ask her any tough questions because then he would look like a mean old man questioning a pretty young lady. And this Marjorie is supposed to be representing the more conservative of views on this bobblehead chat show.
How delicious is it to start the weekend knowing that the Left is in such a state of hysteria that they now are accusing the MSM of going light on Conservatives? Sleep well knowing we only have to get through 52 (?) more days of this and then it will all be over. Even Barack Obama knows his days are numbered. Was anyone really convinced he was kidding when he so honestly regretted on Letterman the other night that he was no longer featured weekly on the covers of Time and Newsweek. Don’t worry, Barry. I’m sure they’ll put you up as an “also ran” on November 10.

Hey I actually agree with you here - I didn’t get the sense that Charlie Gibson was softballing Palin at all. I thought he was focused, pointed and aggressive the way an interview should be, and Palin did OK depending on what your expectations were.
Now, here’s where I don’t understand how you work - you say the person who said Gibson went soft on Palin was Marjorie Egan, who you say is supposed to be a more conservative radio host, then say the left is hysterically accusing the MSM of going light? Stay away from logical fallacies…

No, I said she was “supposed to be” representing the more conservative view. I was pointing out the continued irony and unbelievability of her position.
Many of my readers are local to Boston, so they get it. And I think the station streams on the net, so listen if you get a chance. It’s always a treat to listen to a false “conservative”.
