The Defense of America

If you watched this video, you must be shaking in your shoes. How does all Obama said add up to “protecting the American people”? This is the guy 30% of the voting public wants as our next President? I don’t believe it - we’re smarter than that.

I get that Obama is and has always been against the war. But you can’t convince me it is because he was the only guy in the western world that had accurate intelligence reports. Obama was and is against the war because he is against all wars - a position that is admirable in a Kindergarten teacher, not in the President of the United States. He’s a pacifist. And yet he wants to be in charge of the largest and most advanced military arsenal on the planet? Why does he even want the job? Well, he just told you. He wants to cut that arsenal, he wants to cut spending and he wants to stop funding the war. OK, but where does that leave us?

What Obama has repeatedly failed so miserably to understand is that there are situations in which negotiating is not an option. Did the 9-11 hijackers call before they crashed four planes, killing 3,000 people and ask to negotiate? Do the insurgents who capture our soldiers and kidnap our citizens call to negotiate before beheading them? Whether you support our mission or not, there is n denying that we are fighting a very different war from that of the terrorists. We do not kill captured soldiers. Yeah, maybe we humiliate them at bit. But nobody gets their head chopped off on the internet. We don’t even do that to dogs - because it’s wrong and our society follows a certain moral code that cannot exist in a society where your mortal enemy is that because he doesn’t agree your God is the only God.

Obama doesn’t seem able to distinguish well between right and wrong. He, as a typical attorney, sees all gray. Well, whether we were right or wrong to go into Iraq no longer matters. We are there and we have a moral obligation to finish the job. Not another Vietnam, I say. This time, we have to have the strength and leadership to do this. We don’t have a choice. The only other option is to strengthen and encourage those who would see all of us dead - our soldiers, our citizens, our children. And even our dogs. Obama is not the guy to get us through this. He doesn’t believe in our mission. He’s one of those “˜I support the troops but not the war’ people. What does that mean - how is that possible? It’s just meaningless words.

Yes, it is unfortunate that we are at war and our soldiers are dying and their families are suffering. But this is an “˜us or them’ scenario. The religious and therefore political culture of the Middle East is based on an us or them mentality. They believe that their job on earth is to eliminate - and by eliminate I mean kill - all non-believers. Can they be any clearer? They want us dead. Heck, they want each other dead. And they believe they are glorified by God every time they kill. How exactly does Obama plan to negotiate with that? All of a sudden, our temperate, western, Judeo-Christian society doesn’t seem so abhorrent, does it?

Every one out there who has ever been in a position of power, whether in politics, business or the local garden club, knows there is always someone in the wings ready to fight you for that power, no matter how meaningless. This is especially true for those of us fortunate enough to be Americans. We live a great life. We are prosperous, we are free and life is pretty easy overall. And that just burns the butts of those cave dwelling dudes in Afghanistan. So they declare war on our evil and exclusionary lifestyle. And, get this, a few of “our” guys believe they are right, such as Obama and his left wing comrades. Well, if Obama wants to believe we are all undeserving, greedy hedonists, fine. Let him go be President over there. As for me, I’d like a candidate who believes our way of life is good and virtuous and is willing to protect it at any cost.

  1. he was against the war because he wants his buddies in iran to have an easy time…when they decide to strike…

  2. I have been consistent both on Traitor Obama, and on defence spending, my entire life.

    1) On Obama, I am vehemently opposed to his presidential bid, and so far, I am the only person in the world to call on the American authorities to arrest Obama as a traitor.
    2) On military spending, I am vehemently opposed to any reductions in military spending, any reductions of any weapon stockpiles or equipment stockpiles (except obsolete things), and any reductions of the number of units of the US military. So whether its the number of servicemen, the number of units (like CBGs), number of weapons (like tanks) or the amount of military spending, I am against any reductions. In fact, I am the only person on the planet to have proposed a detailed plan to strengthen the US military:
