Of country clubs and politicians

Bravo to Karl Rove for calling a spade, a spade. Oops, I bet I can’t say that without getting black listed, um I mean, black balled, er, wait, give me a minute, I’ll think of something.

Rove recently referred to Obama as “coolly arrogant” and the left went ballistic. Finally - proof Rove is evil. Well, I happen to agree with him. I think his caricature of Obama at the country club is spot on. When will the legions of supporters figure out that Obama is just another narcissistic limo Liberal who thinks he knows better than anyone else how to “˜save America’? Secretly there is a part of me that hopes they don’t find out until he’s been in office a year or two ““ that must be the Karl Rove part. We’ll never find out though, because Obama does not have enough voter support to win the Presidency.

Somehow, Obama has gotten the impression that he can now buy the election. (He’s basing this belief on the theory that W bought his elections. Can you imagine how disappointed all the whining neo-hippies will be when they discover they were wrong, again?) He’s so confident he’s now writing personal checks to Hillary to pay off her campaign’s debt. He’s counting on $250 million in private donations to carry him into the White House on a wave of support unseen in America since JFK. And, get this, his minions agree. Do you think they know they’re the ones who have to send in the money? I find it a bit ironic that Obama spends the majority of his time on the campaign trail claiming he understands the plight of working Americans and yet it is exactly these people he is expecting donations from. Wouldn’t it be more responsible and honorable of him to keep his promise of using public campaign funds in order to help his supporters in this crumbling economy? BTW, his latest idea for solving the economic crunch for working families is, you guessed it, a stimulus package

Obama has definitely developed a taste for the good life. He did learn a lot at Harvard, didn’t he? How can it be that a poor, black boy from a single parent home turns out to be so successful yet gets away with scorning the “˜club’ he now belongs to? Didn’t his mother ever teach him the old adage “œyou don’t sh*# where you live”? How does he show his face at block parties? Oh wait, I forgot, he lives in a neighborhood full of the same type of elitist, wealthy Liberals who spend their evenings pondering how wonderful life in America would be if only they could write the government checks.

And that’s what it all comes down to, isn’t it? There is nothing the Democrats and Obama want more than the keys to the collective American safety deposit box. They are not interested in reform, they just like to spend other people’s money. They are acting like bitter country club wannabe’s whose application has been denied. They are exhibiting the very tactics they have (mistakenly) attributed to the Bush Administration. They will lie, cheat and steal to get their hands on the White House. And I just wonder how benevolent their intentions could possibly be if they want it that badly?

So again, I think Karl Rove called this one well. Obama continues to display an attitude of arrogance and elitism that doesn’t sell well in America ““ even if he did abandon the “Obama seal”. Americans elected George W. Bush because no matter how fat his wallet, he was and continues to be a guy who can and will sit down and talk to you awhile. And he wouldn’t walk away and tell tales. America will elect John McCain for the same reason.

  1. “Americans elected George W. Bush……” Amber, the people didn’t elect Chimpy. The Supreme Court installed him in 2000 after he lost the popular vote by more than half a million votes.

Karl Rove, the porcine puppet-master of the bush faction, has become a joke. As long as bush and his party kept winning elections, however slim the margins, Rove’s declared ambition was to create a “permanent majority”. Rove’s dream of a repub majority has been blown up in Iraq and drowned in New Orleans. In its final year, the bush presidency is seen by over 70% of the American people as a failure. Rove and bush have sunk the conservative movement!

    PS—
Conservatives Ramesh Ponnuru and Rick Lowry forsee the upcoming electoral disaster, and have written about it in the National Review cover story “The Coming Cataclysm”. Read it and weep.

  2. Wow Kathy, you are thick. You might want to go back and get your GED. Start with reviewing the electoral process in the USofA. The Supreme Court did not appoint W, they simply upheld the Constitution when the crybaby Libs cried unfair and sued.
And Karl Rove is a hero, (please don’t bring up the Valerie Plame “conspiracy” - IMHO she and her commie traitor husband deserved to be outed and ousted!) and will be seen that way in the future when murderous Islamic militants are no longer banging on our collective door.
Your side has had almost eight years to turn the tide against the Republicans and you have only come up with John Kerry and Barack Obama. What you Liberals will never understand is that sometimes you stand behind something for the good of all, not just your own crazy freak flag agenda. That is why no matter how disappointed the media tells you the conservatives are, the country as a whole hates your inadequate and useless Congress more. And we will turn out in November and turn you all out! An article in a conservative publication will only serve to motivate conservatives more, just as the possibility of a left wing, baby killing, black liberating, wanna-be preacher as president will. So yes, keep reading and watching. But try to open your eyes to the reality this time. The people of America don’t like you and don’t want your hands on their money.
And psst, Kathy. Barack Obama’s dad was black. That’s how he got him into Harvard - it’s called affirmative action.

  3. gopmom, so it’s okay with you Republicans that Condoleezza Rice got where she is through Affirmative Action but not okay when it comes to Barack Obama. The obvious hypocrisy of the right-wingers is absolutely stunning. By the way, after Condoleezza Rice got to where she wanted, she turned against Affirmative Action.

And so Kathy is “thick” and needs her “GED” ?? If someone has a different opinion than a Republican, they are immediately insulted and attempted to be discredited. Kinda ridiculous, don’t you think? Sounds like fascism to me.

The Republican members of the Supreme Court stopped the recount in Florida and selected George Bush. Scalia and Clarence Thomas are criminals along with the other three judges who placed the incompetent war criminal puppet George Bush in the White House. That’s criminal and treasonous, and they should be behind bars. Oh but it’s okay for Republicans to rig elections, not pay taxes, and continue to moan and complain about others “spending their money. haha George Bush said himself the rich find a way to not pay taxes, just as the corporations don’t pay taxes by moving to 3rd world countries for cheap labor.

Republicans aren’t concerned about anything else but the ability to not pay their share of taxes.

  4. Nobody likes a sore loser. Or a loser, period.
Better stock up on Kleenex, we’re about to do it again.”
    Luv, gopmom
