Of country clubs and politicians

Rove recently referred to Obama as “coolly arrogant” and the left went ballistic. Finally - proof Rove is evil. Well, I happen to agree with him. I think his caricature of Obama at the country club is spot on.

NoBama ‘08

Excuse me but is Obama running for President or Pope? The popular leader of the Liberal movement is now lecturing on family values? Isn’t he part of the party that claims children should be raised by villages? That schools should teach personal liberty and freedom but not morality? That no government should stand in the way of one’s right to depravity? That babies are a punishment? But now he wants to stand up for accountability. OK, I could go for that if he included himself and the government he wants to create in this new vision. But, as a typical liberal, he simply passes off the advice to others.

The Defense of America

I get that Obama is and has always been against the war. But you can’t convince me it is because he was the only guy in the western world that had accurate intelligence reports. Obama was and is against the war because he is against all wars - a position that is admirable in a Kindergarten teacher, not in the President of the United States.

Lessons Learned in School

I voted against the override, which would have resulted in an additional $180 in property taxes for us this year. It’s not that I can’t afford the tax hike, I’m just tired of paying more and more. And I send my kid to Catholic school, so I pay even more.
